Description:
This class explores the connection between MDS coding and PDPM Categories, as well as its influence on quality measures. Participants will learn to analyze and ensure accuracy in MDS coding for PDPM and quality measures. The course covers Medicare Quality Reporting Program and emphasizes the importance of clinical documentation. Attendees will examine PDPM categories, review necessary documentation, break down quality measures, and audit for accuracy. Enhance your knowledge of MDS coding, PDPM Categories, and quality measures. Improve compliance, reimbursement, and overall care quality. Join us for this essential healthcare administration class.

  • Learn how MDS coding will impact PDPM Categories.
  • Understand how to analyze a PDPM category and determine how to back into the MDS to determine accuracy.
  • Discuss how to review Quality Measures and back into the MDS to determine accuracy.
  • Gain an understanding of the Medicare Quality Reporting Program and how the MDS impacts the facility’s compliance.

CE Hours (Requested):
Registrants must be in attendance from 8:00AM - 5:00PM to receive CE hours (BRN - 8)

Materials: Printed materials and MDS Manual/Comprehensive Set will be provided onsite
