Description of Course:
This session provides skilled nursing facility leaders and interdisciplinary team members with a practical roadmap for responding to F-Tag 761 (Label/Store Drugs and Biologicals) deficiencies following a regulatory survey. Attendees will learn how to monitor ongoing compliance, strengthen pharmacy and nursing collaboration, and implement audit tools that reduce repeat deficiencies and survey risk. Real-world scenarios and best practices will equip participants to move beyond correction toward long-term regulatory success.
Learning Objectives:
•Explain key steps in responding to F-Tag 761 deficiencies, including post-survey actions and regulatory expectations for sustained compliance.
•Apply strategies to improve collaboration between nursing and pharmacy teams in order to strengthen medication labeling, storage practices, and compliance oversight.
•Demonstrate how to implement at least two audit and monitoring tools that support ongoing compliance and reduce the risk of repeat F-Tag 761 deficiencies.

BRN & NAB - 1 Hour
Registrants must be individually logged in for the full session to receive CE hours and certificate.

In order to receive a refund, cancellations for QCHF/CAHF classes must be made five (5) business days (Monday-Friday) prior to the beginning of the course. Cancellations must be in writing to cmerced@cahf.org. Transfer of registration is done ONLY if notified in writing prior to the start of the class.
