Description of Course:
The Medicare Skilled Nursing Facility Value-Based Purchasing (SNF VBP) Program continues to expand, making provider performance increasingly critical. Participants will get a practical overview of SNF VBP requirements, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) updates, and the operational and clinical factors that most influence outcomes. The review will include frequently missed Medicare PDPM best practices, actionable strategies to strengthen financial performance, and compliance in today's payment environments.

Learning Objectives:
1. Explain the core components of the SNF Medicare VBP Program.
2. Identify the primary operational and clinical drivers of SNF VBP performance.
3. Recognize common Medicare PDPM Best Practice Gaps — including assessment coding, documentation, and interdisciplinary care delivery breakdowns, that can negatively affect Medicare reimbursement and compliance.
4. Develop practical strategies to improve Medicare quality outcomes and financial performance by integrating VBP awareness into daily clinical and operational decision-making.

BRN & NAB - 1 Hour
Registrants must be individually logged in for the full session to receive CE hours and certificate. Certificates will be available on your member dashboard after the conclusion of the training. (quiz and evaluation must be completed first).

BOARD REFUND POLICY
In order to receive a refund, cancellations for QCHF/CAHF classes must be made five (5) business days (Monday-Friday) prior to the beginning of the course. Cancellations must be in writing to cmerced@cahf.org. Transfer of registration is done ONLY if notified in writing prior to the start of the class.
