Description of Course:
Discover how home health and hospice organizations are using AI to address workforce shortages, reduce administrative burden, and improve operational efficiency without compromising quality of care. This session provides practical, real-world use cases in scheduling, clinical documentation, and workflow automation, along with the leadership, governance, and regulatory considerations needed to implement AI responsibly and achieve measurable results.
Who Should Attend:
Administrator, Director of Nursing (DON), Infection Preventionist, MDS Coordinator, Registered Dietitian, Activities Director, Directors of Staff Development (DSD)
Learning Objectives:
1. Identify practical AI use cases in home health and hospice operations, including scheduling optimization, clinical documentation support, and workflow automation.
2. Evaluate where AI can deliver measurable business value by reducing administrative burden, improving workforce efficiency, and accelerating operational processes.
3. Apply a framework for selecting and prioritizing AI initiatives, including identifying suitable workflows, defining success metrics, and building a phased implementation roadmap.
4. Recognize key governance, compliance, and risk considerations related to AI adoption, including HIPAA, vendor due diligence, oversight, and regulatory expectations.
5. Develop a practical action plan for AI adoption using proven implementation strategies, vendor evaluation criteria, and a 90-day pilot approach
CE Hours (Requested):
BRN & NAB - 1 Hour
Registrants must be individually logged in for the full session to receive CE hours and certificate. Certificates will be available on your member dashboard after the conclusion of the training. (quiz and evaluation must be completed first).
